Betting big on Atlantic City
Harrah’s Entertainment announced a $550 million plan to make it even more the dominant player in Atlantic City.
A 964-room hotel tower will boost its from capacity by nearly 60%, the company said.
It also plans a 172,000 square foot retail and entertainment complex that will include a 650-seat buffet.

The Borgata was Atlantic City’s first new casino in more than a decade. Opening in 2003, it also plans an expansion with a hotel tower with another 800 rooms.
