BHMA bringing new Away brand to Bali
Flight Centre Travel Group’s hotel management unit BHMA has unveiled plans for its new Away hotel brand in Bali.
The brand launches in Bali after BHMA signed a lease agreement for The Camakila Legian resort.
It will be rebranded as Away Bali Legian Camakila.
It becomes BHMA’s 22nd hotel.
The resort has 117 rooms and a lagoon pool, a beachfront infinity pool, two restaurants, a fitness centre, spa, and meeting space.
It is located close to the beach midway between Kuta and Seminyak.
"This agreement allows us to increase the profile of our Away brand outside Thailand for the first time and, most importantly, demonstrate the effectiveness of the leasing model," said Kent Davidson, managing director of BHMA.
Davidson said the company is also eyeing other leasing opportunities in key cities across Asia Pacific, Fiji, the Maldives and mountain resorts in Japan.
