Big Five enhances commissions for Big 500
Big Five Tours & Expeditions is offering additional commissions to its “Big 500” agents. Said Ashish Sanghrajka, vice president of sales and partner relations:
“Agents have to meet a minimum threshhold to get in, but once they’re in, they get another 2% for 12% commissions. We’ve had overwhelming success with the program, and we’re ahead of schedule with it.”
Agents can also use the company’s Web site, and Big Five offers other perks, according to Mr Sanghrajka.
Big Five Tours & Expeditions started out 31 years ago to focus on safaris. The Big Five is a reference to the most sought-after African game animals.
Mr Sangrajka said the company today has a wide variety of worldwide tours that take it well beyound Africa, though they still have a variety of popular tours there as well.
“Africa right now is our hottest tour,” he said, though the company also provides soft adventure tours that feature unusual aspects of cultures or trips that focus on seeing natural wonders in areas such as the polar region.
Mr Sangrajka said the company has earned a strong reputation for service in part because of its “hands-on” management approach, and its establishment of on site offices at all of its destinations.
Safarai-style trips to Kenya are as inexpensive as $2800, including air fare.
