Birmingham trains disrupted again
Passengers to Birmingham Airport are being warned not to come by train via Birmingham New Street, which has been hit by a major power failure.
Network Rail asked people to avoid the station this morning after signals stopped working in the early hours.
The problems come just days after trains were severely disrupted at Birmingham International station last Friday when a train hit overhead cables.
Today’s problems are impacting trains Arriva Trains Wales, CrossCountry Trains, London Midland and Virgin Trains.
Network Rail said power has now been restored by delays and cancellations are expected to continue.
