Biz, meeting-goers agree: Windy City is tops for fun

Chicago came out on top when Travel & Leisure/CNN Headline News poll ranked the top 25 cities for a business/meeting trip that’s also fun.

New Orleans was second.

Perhaps surprisingly, Las Vegas came in eighth. Why?

Low scores in culture, museums and overall intelligence were some of the reasons, according to respondents.

Chicago won for its skyline, ease of transportation and neighborhoods.

Other winning cities in order:

3. San Francisco
4. New York
5. San Diego
6. Austin
7. Honolulu
8. Las Vegas
9 .Boston
10. Seattle
11. Charleston
12. Denver
13. Washington, D.C.
14. Minneapolis/St. Paul
15. Portland, Oregon
16. San Antonio
17. Miami
18. Philadelphia
19. Orlando
20. Nashville
21. Atlanta
22. Santa Fe
23. Los Angeles
24. Phoenix/Scottsdale
25. Dallas/Fort Worth
