Blackpool travel agent goes out of business
The Association of British Travel Agents has reported that Layton Travel(ABTA no.41316) ceased trading due to insolvency on Friday 2 August. The company, which also traded as Holiday Hut, was based in Westcliffe Drive, Blackpool.
ABTA said the company’s clients will be protected under ABTA’s financial protection scheme to ensure that they will be able to continue with their travel arrangements or receive a full refund.
In the first instance, customers booked and due to go away with Layton Travel should contact the credit control departments of the tour operator with whom their holiday was booked. Clients who need further assistance should contact the ABTA Claims department on: 020 7307 2041.
