Blitz on Bali’s illegal transport operators
Bali’s transportation department is threatening to crackdown on unlicensed chauffeured and self-drive rental vehicles operating in island’s tourism sector.
It is estimated that 70 percent of tourism transport operations in Bali are illegal.
Bali Update (www.balidiscovery.com) reports that Bali governor Made Mangku Pastika has declared 2011 as the year of “law enforcement” in Bali.
Illegal tourist vehicles will be targeted by the governor’s crackdown.
