Bmi adds ski flights from Heathrow
A winter service from Heathrow to the French ski gateway of Lyon is to be run by bmi.
The airline is to operate four flights a week between December 3 and April 22, 2006 using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Internet tickets have gone on sale starting at £29 one way including taxes and charges – claimed to be 43% below existing return rates.
The airline’s managing director Nigel Turner said: “We have every confidence tht our new services to Lyon will prove to be extremely popular.
“It is the second biggest city in France as well as being a major gateway to a wide range of winter ski destinations in teh region.”
