Bmi confirms Heathrow-Jeddah launch
Bmi is to expand long haul services from Heathrow with Jeddah flights from April 23 next year.
The carrier will also increase flights to Mumbai to a daily frequency from April 22.
Bmi’s Gulf network is being enhanced further with daily flights from Heathrow to Doha under a wet lease agreement with Qatar Airways from March 26, subject to government approval. The UK airline is also expanding a codeshare agreement to allow Bmi to sell Qatar Airways flights from Heathrow to Doha under Bmi’s flight code.
The moves follow the launch of a three ties weekly Heathrow service to the Saudi Arabia capital of Riyadh in September.
