Bmi restructures UK sales teams
Julie Jones has been appointed head of business sales at bmi after a restructure of its UK sales team.
The airline has decided to combine its business trade and corporate sales into a single business sales team, headed up by Jones, who was formerly head of corporate sales.
Following the restructure, former head of business trade sales, Julie Steadman will be “pursuing other opportunitiesâ€.
Bmi claimed the reshuffle “underpins the airline’s strategy to focus on business travellers and to deliver sustained business growth in 2009 and beyondâ€.
Jones will continue to report directly to Katherine Gershon, sales and marketing director.
