Bob the Builder helps First Choice ‘fix it’ for children
First Choice has formed a three-year partnership with HIT Entertainment to bring children’s TV characters to resorts next summer.
Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Thomas the Tank Engine, Pingu, Barney Friends, Angelina Ballerina and Kipper will appear at Holiday Villages and Kids Academy properties from May 2008.
First Choice Retail will renovate and redesign a number of its 42 Holiday Hypermarkets to feature dedicated children’s corners featuring HIT characters in branded play areas.
The First Choice Kids Club is being renamed ‘Kids Academy’ across short and mid haul destinations.
An ‘experience-based’ Adult’s brochure is segmented into ‘Adult Experiences’ and ‘Adult Escapes’ 24 exclusive adult-only properties and a further 56 adult-focussed hotels. The brochure offers adults a choice of culture, active and nature, with new resorts, flights and customer offers.
A new Holiday Village is added in the Algarve for next summer, bringing the total up to nine.
The Premier brochure has been split between First Choice’s Premier offering and a new category, Premier Luxury which includes 23 five-star hotels, private taxi transfers and VIP airport lounges.
Premier Families has a own stand-alone brochure for the first time featuring 40 family-friendly properties in 25 destinations.
Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt, Premier/Premier Luxury, Adults and Premier Families (first edition), Summersun, Sunstart, Families, Holiday Villages and Lapland (second edition) and Wintersun (3rd edition) brochures are available from today.
