Boeing claims orders for 200 7E7s
The aircraft manufacturer Boeing has confirmed that orders for its new 7E7 airliner now stand at more than 200 – with more than 24 customers having paid deposits.
The Independent newspaper states that all the airlines concerned have written letters of intent to buy, with all of them having placed refundable deposits to secure delivery “slots” when the aircraft goes into production.
The newspaper names four confirmed customers: All Nippon Airways; First Choice; Blue Panorama, of Italy; and Air New Zealand.
