Booking app Omio set for acquisition spree

German travel-booking app Omio has raised $100 million to expand the business in a post-Covid world.
Omio scaled back operations as the pandemic took hold, with nine out of 10 staff furloughed, but founder and CEO Naren Shaam said plans to grow organically and through acquisition are back on track.
