Boulder City to build tourist adventure center
Boulder City, NV will soon build a new Adventure Center, offering visitors a centralized location for starting tours and activities
It is backed by a federal grant of $3.7 million to support tourism and economic development in Nevada.
The grant will support the creation of two Adventure Center locations, one in Northern Nevada (Carson City) and one in Southern Nevada (Boulder City).
The project in Boulder City will receive $2.2 million in grant funds.
Boulder City Express, a coach transportation option run by National Park Express, will connect visitors from Las Vegas with the Boulder City Adventure Center
This will allow travelers to book tours and activities in Boulder City, and have affordable transportation to the area.
This will also offer businesses in Boulder City an affordable way to receive these visitors without having to provide their own transportation from Las Vegas hotels.
Another benefit of the Adventure Center will be the cross marketing opportunities due to the co-location of activities offered.
Travelers will benefit from a concentrated offering of activities and affordable transportation while Businesses will benefit from having an efficient location and lowered transportation costs
A specific timeline for the project will be made available in the coming months.
