Bourne Leisure strengthens agency sales team
Bourne Leisure has expanded its agency sales team with the appointment of two sales executives.
Gary Turgoose will provide agents with product knowledge and training throughout the South of England whilst Victoria Culling will look after the North, including Scotland.
Turgoose joins after two years working with the Butlins brand, following a two year stint as a Thomson rep in resort.
Culling was field executive for Holidaymore.com and before that regional Sales manager for Transun.
Both will report to Liza Williams, who has recently been promoted to Bourne Leisure’s national account manager, following a restructure of the on-the-road sales team.
Williams said: “With the domestic tourism market having experienced very strong sales in 2006 and predictions for next year also looking positive, agents are increasingly realising the earning potential of booking UK breaks for their customers.
“With this in mind we felt that an expansion of our agency sales team was essential to meet this demand and maintain regular contact and excellent relationships with the trade. “
