Four new summer sun routes are to be opened by Ryanair from Bournemouth next year.
The no-frills carrier is to base a second aircraft at the south coast airport and bring the network of destinations served up to 16.
New flights will start in March to Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Malta and Valencia.
The new routes along with increased frequencies to Alicante, Malaga and Palma will increase Ryanair’s annual traffic at Bournemouth to 650,000 passengers a year which the airline says will sustain 650 local jobs.
The Ibiza and Malta services will run twice a week from March 30, while Fuerteventura starts on April 1 and Valencia on April 2, also with two flights a week each.
Alicante and Malaga will have five flights a week and Palma four a week.
