Bowen Travel signs Sunhotels dynamic packaging deal

Saturday, 28 Jun, 2004 0

The Bowen Travel Group is to offer dymanic packaging in a deal with accommodation-only trade website Sunhotels.

Bowen has more than 40 agencies across the Midlands and North of England trading under the Yorks Travel, Bowens and Appleby Travel Agents brands. Three hundred other agents use the system.

Bowen retail director George Reynolds said: “Thyere is an increasing demand from discerning travellers for dynamic packaging and we feel that by integrating the Sunhotels.net system into our agencies we will be able to offer the greatest choice  of holiday options.”

The deal with Bowen comes six months after the launch of Sunhotels in the UK. The site now features more than 580 properties, including New York and Florida for the first time. It pays 15% commission to agents.

UK sales director David Sleath said: “It is important that independent travel agents recognise the benefits that using the system will bring to their business.”
