Braga, Portugal to host the 2022 AITO overseas conference
Visit Portugal announced that Braga will be the next destination to host the 2022 AITO overseas Conference in collaboration with Porto and The North and Braga Council.
It takes place from 17 – 20 November 2022.
Portugal was chosen as the host destination due to its efforts in becoming one of the most sustainable destinations in Europe.
Portugal and Braga were also chosen as the host destination for their accessibility.
There are regular, two-hour flights from London to Porto every day and AITO promises to offset any carbon footprint emissions for delegates that choose to fly.
Porto and Braga are well connected by a regular train service.
The event will bring together tour operators and travel agents as well as AITO’s business partners and tourist offices.
The conference will also include speakers and educational panel discussions, breakout events and business sessions.
