Brand USA unveils details of 2019 MegaFam
Brand USA has confirmed Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, as the finale destination for next year’s UK & Ireland MegaFam.
The multi-destination familiarisation tour takes place from May 9 to 17 with the Arizona event on May 15.
The trip, in partnership with American Airlines and British Airways, will see 100 agents split into seven groups to explore difference destinations.
Agents will be able to win a place on the Brand USA UK & Ireland MegaFam 2019 by booking American Airlines and BA flights to the US during the entry period starting from December 3 2018 until March 29 2019.
To qualify, agents must also earn a number of USA specialist badges on the official agent training site, USADiscoveryProgram.co.uk.
Itineraries and exact details of how agents can qualify to win a place on the MegaFam will be released before the end of the year.
Thomas Garzilli, chief marketing officer for Brand USA, said: "The MegaFam has become a key pillar of Brand USA’s activity in the UK and Ireland and is another case of how Brand USA endeavours to provide the travel industry with the best possible knowledge and understanding to better sell the USA."
From March 31 2019, American Airlines will launch a seasonal, daily non-stop service from Heathrow to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
