Branson offer ‘fill it up’ Gas Buster program
Country music hotspot Branson is the latest drive-reliant destination to come up with a creative way to combat rising gas prices.
The Missouri destination is offering visitors Gas Buster Discount Cards worth up to $50 off show and attraction tickets, lodging, meals and other purchases.
One stipulation is that motorists spend $20 on gas during their trips here before 31 October of this year.
“Branson businesses are working together to help offset the costs of gas so visitors can afford to see and do all the things they would like to do while on vacation,” said Ross Summer, president and CEO of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
More than 85% of visitors here are drive-ins. Over one-third of the visitors come from 300 miles or less.
