Brazil unveils dates for 2009 roadshow
The Brazilian Tourist Board (EMBRATUR) has announced dates of its 2009 Road Show Workshops for UK and Ireland travel agents and tour operators.
It will be the third year that EMBRATUR has organized these workshops for the travel industry.
The Workshop Road Shows will be kicking off in mid-May in London followed by Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh and finishing in Dublin in November.
The dates are as follows:
London 12 May
Birmingham 13 May
Newcastle 14 May 2009
London 21 July
Manchester 22 July
Edinburgh 23 July
Dublin 5 November
Event timings are:
Arrive: 6.30pm
Presentation: 6.45pm-7.15pm
Speed dating: 7.15pm–9.00pm
Prize draw: 9.00pm
Finish: 9.20pm

Chris Fuzinatto, Brazil Tourist Office director for UK & Ireland said: “This time we’re focusing on training for professionals working in reservations and sales at travel agencies, operators and workers in call centres in these places.
“We want to provide them with the most efficient strategies for selling Brazilian products, services and destinations based on our commercial expertise.
“We also want to ensure they are better informed about the tools we can provide for accessing specialised information, such as on-line training for travel agents”.
