British tourist drowns in Spain
A British tourist has drowned after falling off a pedalo and being dragged out to sea on Spain’s popular Costa Dorada.
Local reports said the 31-year-old man was spotted struggling in the water off Regueral Beach in Cambrils shortly before 5pm on Sunday.
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene and performed CPR, but they were unable to save him.
A five-year-old girl from Georgia died off La Pineda Beach in the same region of Spain last month when her rubber ring was dragged out to sea.
