British tourists killed in Turkey jeep crash
Two female tourists were killed after being flung from an open top jeep while on holiday in Turkey.
Other tourists were also badly injured in the jeep safari crash when it collided with a telegraph pole after a visit to popular tourist spot, Saklikent Gorge.
According to local reports the driver lost control of the jeep as the group returned to Fethiye.
Valerie Olton, 53, was declared dead at the scene while Alison May Conray, 51, died later in hospital.
Michael Home and Charles Belham, both Britons, were also seriously injured in the accident last night, along with the Turkish driver and two Turkish passengers.
Emergency services took the injured to hospital in Fethiye – where Michael Home and driver Emre Yukaribas are in intensive care, reports the Daily Mail.
