Brits visiting Europe told to be ‘particularly vigilant’ over Easter
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has said British travellers to Europe should be ‘particularly vigilant’ over the Easter break.
The FCO has updated advice to major European countries that are popular travel destinations among Brits, including France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
It advises: "In addition to existing information about the threat from terrorism; terrorists may target religious sites, including churches; you should be particularly vigilant over the Easter period."
Also on the list are Belgium, Austria, Poland, Portugal and the Netherlands.
