Brittany puts figure on New Year ad campaign
Brittany Ferries has confirmed that it is spending £1.2 million on its turn of the year advertising campaign, which includes TV commercials across parts of Meridan, Wales, the West Country and Central regions.
Its 30 and 60-second ads, launched on December 27, are also in cinemas and these are being supported by press and online ads.
The campaign has been designed to highlight Brittany’s range of gites, hotels, casa and camp sites.
The idea at the heart of the campaign is ‘For Anyone Who Loves France and Spain’ and features emotionally engaging footage of families and couples enjoying breaks abroad and on board.
The campaign was created by Brighton-based agency Designate whose clients also include LV=, Columbus Direct, Mark Warner, Audley Travel and Priority Pass.
Richard Price, head of marketing at Brittany Ferries, said, "This is an evolution of our successful brand campaign last year with a renewed focus on the breadth of the Brittany Ferries offering, particularly our sail-and-stay holiday products.
"We’ve had a very successful year and I am sure this new campaign will introduce even more travellers to the convenience of travel from Portsmouth, Poole and Plymouth as well as the quality of our premium service and value of our holiday packages."
