BTS showcase Seoul for tourists
Honorary tourism ambassadors BTS are fronting large scale campaign promoting tourism in Seoul.
They dropped a promotional video called ‘2022 Seoul Tour’ on the city’s official Youtube channel VisitSeoul TV
BTS members RM and Jin share three facets of the city (‘deliciouSeoul’, ‘healingSeoul’ and ‘snapshotSeoul’) showing how they live in Seoul.
A total of three episodes will be made public every week.
The campaign promotes tourism in Seoul with promotional videos and flashing the city of Seoul’s ‘MY SOUL SEOUL’ slogan on major media channels including CNN, BBC and CNA and outdoor screens in seven major Asian cities including Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok
It runs until November.
Giveaways are offered to those who post shots of outdoor screens displaying the clips on social media.
“We are hoping that the clips and global promotional activities with BTS etch Seoul as the primary destination of choice of all world travelers,” Seoul Tourism Organization said.
The Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) was established to promote tourism and revitalise the local economy by creating a global brand for the city.
