Budget to the fore in Vietnam

Sunday, 11 May, 2009 0

HO CHI MINH CITY – Budget is now the official ground provider of the Ho Chi Minh Golf Trail.

The partnership gives golfers on the trail access to vehicles and drivers for the southern leg, which includes Ocean Dunes Golf Club in Phan Thiet — four hours by car from Saigon.

Budget, in operation in Saigon since September 2008, plans to launch service in Hanoi later this year.

Budget also offers a VIP immigration service. This includes boarding-bridge pick up, personal escort through Customs and chauffeured hotel transfer for those who book a package of two days or more.

Budget provides each client in Vietnam with a trained local driver who functions as a traveling concierge, complete with strong English-language skills and knowledge of the immediate region.

Cars are equipped with a mobile phone, international newspapers and magazines, chilled water and towels and 24-hour customer-service support.
