UK: Business travellers will be shown how to “reduce their spend”
The annual Business Travel Show at London’s Olympia gets under way today – and commentators say the show’s key emphasis will be on showing travellers the best way to get the best fares and prices. Promotional material for the event boasts that visitors will be shown “easy ways to reduce their business travel spend and manage their company’s travel more effectively”, and the three-day conference programme that runs alongside the exhibition will kick off with a session entitled: “Are you getting the best fares?” The managing director of Business Travel Management, Adam White, who will lead the session, told The Times: “With the entire industry holding its breath and praying there will not be a war, driving down expenditure has to be the main concern.” The show runs from today until Thursday; for further information call 0870 744 4984 or visit www.businesstravelshow.com.
