Business Travel Show to launch in Dubai
The first Business Travel Show in Dubai will take place in October following a joint venture agreement between Centaur Media Plc and Dubai-based Dnata World of Events.
Centaur, the organiser of this week’s Business Travel Show at Earls Court and other events in London and Germany, said the Dubai show will be the first of a series of Middle East exhibitions and trade fairs launched on the back of the new partnership.
It will take place at the Madinat Arena on October 29-30.
Centaur Exhibitions event director Sally Pugmire said there was a strong need to “improve knowledge of the benefits of a managed travel policy in a fast-growing business travel market”.
“With so much growth about to happen, particularly in the hotel sector, there is a real need for promotional opportunities as suppliers compete for business,” she added.
“There is a shift in traditional buying habits towards making online bookings and transactions, so the timing of the launch is exactly right for the needs of the business travel community in the UAE and greater Gulf region.”
