Buy a house, win a jet
DUBAI: A UK-based businessman who bought a house in Dubai ended up with his own private jet after winning a lottery.
Ahmad Farsair, 21, paid less than US$200,000 for his investment property, a purchase that gained him entry into the draw for a multi-million dollar Eclipse private jet.
“I could not believe it when I was told I had won the prize. I did not sleep all night,” he said.
After thinking about flying his own private jet around the world, Iranian-born Farsair decided to take the cash equivalent – and then splashed out on a BMW 6 Series coupe.
