Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ first Traders hotel in Australia, Traders Hotel Brisbane, has launched the "Stay Connected" package, which includes a one-night stay and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 – for the all-in price of the tablet, AUD459.

At check-in, guests will be presented with a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 16GB Wi-Fi enabled tablet.

The hotel offers in-house guests free Wi-Fi and wired Internet access in all of its guestrooms and public areas.

The free Internet service is part of a Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ initiative that now covers all 75 of the group’s Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders hotels and resorts.

"Getting Internet access while on the road is no longer a rarefied luxury. We understand that travellers, whether business or leisure, need to be connected," said Bruno Cristol, general manager of Traders Hotel, Brisbane.

The offer is valid until December 31, 2012.

Guests must book the "Stay Connected" package through www.tradershotels.com, calling local toll-free number 1800 735 501 or email [email protected].

The offer is only for the Deluxe Room category and is subject to availability, valid for single night bookings only, with any additional night offered at the hotel’s Best Available Rate.
