CAA launches alert system
The UK Civil Aviation Authority has launched a new website and a new industry alert system.
The website has been re-designed to be mobile friendly and includes more information, better search, blogs, news and social media.
The site will be further development throughout 2016.
The CAA has also launched a new alerting system called Skywise, giving targeted alerts on news and information from the organisation directly through the app, email or website.
Each alert will be a short summary allowing stakeholders to access more detailed information, normally via the website, if required.
By the spring of 2016 the CAA’s existing information and safety notice system will be phased out and will be replaced with Skywise.
Existing users are encouraged to register with the new app to ensure they continue to receive information.
For more information on Skywise, to download the app or sign up for alerts via email go to www.caa.co.uk/skywise
