Cabbies take fam trip to Bermuda

Seven London cab drivers ventured a little further than their regular routes last week when they hopped on a plane to Bermuda to take part in fam trip.
The cabbies, all of whom drive bright pink Bermuda-livery vehicles, were sent off to get some Bermuda knowledge so that once back home they can talk to passengers about the island.
Guests of the Bermuda Department of Transport, London’s finest enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Caribbean paradise and now they will be imparting their wisdom on unsuspecting fares.
But Bermuda is quick to add that the cabbies won’t be going any further down the line in the selling travel stakes. It is now sending 10 agents out to do the same trip later this month.
The Mole is grateful to Bermuda Tourism all round and will be making a beeline for the cabs if only to avoid the current Cameron’s-cost-cuts banter.
