California theme parks can now accept out-of-state visitors
California theme parks are now able to welcome out-of-state visitors, but only those who have been fully vaccinated. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy has been revised allowing non-residents to enter theme parks and SeaWorld San Diego has become the first to do so.
According to the California Attractions and Parks Association, the Blueprint gives theme park operators the flexibility to update entry regulations when they are ready.
Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland will continue limiting attendance to Californians for now and they haven’t said when they will expand it to out-of-state visitors.
