Cardinal Fans Encouraged to Read Fine Print
The Arizona Cardinals won the National Football Conference Championship Game Sunday and will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Tampa Florida for their first Super Bowl ever on Sunday, Feb. 1.
The U.S. Department of Transportation and consumer groups are warning excited Cardinal fans to read the fine print and be careful when booking Super Bowl travel packages.
The USDOT said fans should be aware of what is covered in the Super Bowl travel packages they purchase, such as airfare, hotel accommodations and of course game tickets. If game tickets are not specifically advertised or noted in the package details, they probably are not included, officials have warned.
So, don’t assume. Read the fine print and ask questions. The agency also said that if travel and tourism brokers say a ticket is included in a package and it is not, consumers could get a full refund.
