Caribbean chain doubles UK sales force
Caribbean hotel group Almond Resorts has doubled its UK sales team to four in a move claimed to reflect a boom in bookings.
Fiona Boss has been recruited after an 18-month spell with First Choice retail while Suzanne Spike joins from Mirror Group newspapers. They will train agents in the midlands and south-east respectively.
Business development manager Tracey Dyson said the expansion follows a 10% increase in bookings from the UK.
She forecast that sales will double once Almond opens its Casuarina Beach property in Barbados.
