Caribbean specialist thanks agents for support
Caribtours is celebrating its most successful new product launch in its 33 year history, C by Caribtours, aimed at price sensitive late bookers and cost conscious families.
Managing director Paul Cleary said sales had just reached £1 million.
He said: "Whilst retaining the luxury range in our main programmes, C by Caribtours has changed things massively for us and has been even more successful than we had ever hoped for – it is the most successful new product launch in our history."
Trade sales manager Rebecca Burgess thanked the trade for their support, saying: "The Independent agents that we work with have all really got behind this programme; it was something they’d been requesting from us for quite some time.
"The agents we work with now know that in order to get competitively priced affordable holidays you don’t need to settle for inferior service and indifferent customer care. It is because of our loyal agents that C by Caribtours has got off to such a flying start."
45% of bookings have been for couples departing in February to April, with 30% being families departing in July and August.
The two top selling destinations in the programme have been Saint Lucia and Mexico, with the two top selling hotels being Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Mexico, and Blu, St Lucia.
