Caribbean walks the plank
Royal Caribbean opened what it called a “pirate’s paradise” at its Labadee port of call.
Would-be pirates can stage mock battles with four water cannons mounted on a ship and connected wharf.
The “Splash Bash” also has a play area for children aged 3 to 5 that offers various water-related activities.
The Labadee port of call already has several other activities that include rock climbing, log balancing, kayaking and parasailing, among others.
The 260-acre Labadee is on the secluded north coast of Hispaniola. The port of call also has five beaches, nature trails, open-air dining areas and beachside bars with native entertainment.
