Carlson goes upscale
For the first time, Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates is entering the luxury/spa market.
“We’re always looking for new and different types of vacations to offer to travelers,” said Roger E. Block, executive vice president.
The new vacations range from Caribbean and Panama Canal cruises to deluxe Hawaiian getaways that include unique body treatments and activity passes.
Two samples:
• Celebrity Cruises Ultimate Caribbean, a 10-night cruise that includes use of a spa for $1,150 per person.
• Pleasant Holidays — The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii on Hawaii’s big Island. A six-day stay from $1,947 that includes body and exfoliation treatments, manicures and pedicures.
