Carlson Wagonlit gets new UK sales chief
Travel management firm Carlson Wagonlit Travel has appointed Simone Buckley to the position of Sales Director UK.
Ms Buckley was previously Vice President EMEA at SYNERGI Travel. Her previous roles include head of marketing Europe at travel management firm Rosenbluth International.
She will report directly to Jim Tweedie, Executive Vice President North Europe. Commenting on the appointment Mr Tweedie said: “I am delighted to
announce the appointment of Simone to the position of Sales Director UK. She has an excellent track record within the Business Travel Industry and comes
with a wealth of experience and an in-depth knowledge of how the Industry works.”
Ms Buckley replaces Ian Gibb. A spokesman said that Mr Gibb would be working for Carlson Wagonlit in a business development role in the Asia-Pacific region.
