Carnival Legend to homeport at San Francisco in 2025
Carnival Cruise Line will deploy Carnival Legend in San Francisco in 2025.
The ship will sail alternating 10-day Alaska cruises and four-day Baja Mexico sailings.
In addition, Carnival Legend will sail two Carnival Journeys cruises including a 14-day Panama Canal transit taking guests from Tampa to San Francisco.
There will also be a 15-day Hawaiian Islands voyage.
These sailings are now on sale.
“Carnival Miracle has been sailing from San Francisco since 2022, so we wanted to offer our guests a new option for the 2025 season,” said Fred Stein, VP of revenue planning.
“Carnival Legend will be a perfect addition to the port as we continue to expand our West Coast service offerings.”
Carnival Legend begins the 10-day Alaska cruises on May 12, 2025.
Guests will visit Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and scenic cruising of Tracy Arm Fjord, as well as Prince Rupert, B.C. in Canada.
Carnival Legend’s San Francisco deployment kicks off on May 8, 2025 with a four-day Baja Mexico cruise calling at Ensenada.
Throughout the summer, it will offer an additional eight of these sailings.
Ahead of its move to San Francisco, Carnival Legend will offer a 14-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise from Tampa, Florida departing on April 24, 2025.
The ship will visit Cartagena, Colombia before transiting the Panama Canal, followed by visits to Puntarenas, Costa Rica and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
