Carnival UK boss to chair European Cruise Council
Carnival UK managing director David Dingle is to chair the European Cruise Council for the next two years.
He succeeds Costa chairman and CEO Pier Luigi Foschi.
Susan Hooper, senior vice president and managing director Royal Caribbean International in Europe, Middle East and Africa, takes the vice-chair role held by Island Cruises managing director Patrick Ryan since the creation of the group in 2004.
More than 30 companies and organisations are represented within ECC, which was set up to promote the interests of the cruise sector with the European Union.
