Carnival UK recruits for senior roles following restructure
P&O Cruises and Cunard Line sales and distribution director Chris Truscott has left the company following a commercial restructure that brings sales and marketing of the two brands together.
Paul Ludlow has moved from Princess Cruises, where he was managing director UK and Europe, to senior vice-president, sales and marketing for P&O Cruises.
Carnival UK will recruit to fill a similar position at Cunard, reporting to Carnival UK chief executive David Noyes.
Ludlow will have full responsibility for the sales and marketing for P&O Cruises as well as sales support, guest insight and digital teams for both brands.
Jeremy McKenna, head of partner sales, will lead the agency sales team, currently for both brands, reporting directly to Ludlow.
Princess Cruises will be recruiting for Ludlow’s replacement.
Noyes said: "We have two leading brands and we need to differentiate between them. By bringing sales and marketing together we will bring a greater focus to each."
Last week, Carnival UK announced chief commercial officer Gerard Tempest was leaving.
