Carnival will make you a star
Carnival Cruise Lines seems to have a new wrinkle in passenger offerings: the chance to don an Elvis or James Brown or Madonna costume and perform on the ship.
There’s nothing like it among cruise lines, according to Roger Blum, vice president of cruise programming, who said:
“While just about every cruise line has a guest talent show, this takes the concept to an entirely new level, making guests the featured performers in our Las Vegas-style revues.”
The “Carnival Legends” program recently debuted on the Imagination. It was such a hit, the show will soon be featured on other Carnival ships during cruises of seven days or longer.
The good or bad news for passengers and others is that “Carnival Legends” is open to anyone, regardless of vocal talents.
Guests can select from such stars as Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears or others.
