Celebrate California Wine and Film with these Intoxicating Excursions

In celebration of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s releases of "Bottle Shock" on DVD, and the Blu-ray Disc (BD) high-definition debut of the Academy Award(R)-winning comedy "Sideways" on February 3rd, the California Travel & Tourism Commission (CTTC) has launched "Perfect Pairing" drive itineraries and special offers that let fans of the wine country flicks check out the set for less.

"The simultaneous release of ‘Bottle Shock’ on DVD and ‘Sideways’ on Blu- ray Disc will intoxicate many fans with the desire to visit the places that inspired these great films," said Caroline Beteta, CTTC president & CEO. "We’ve put together some special offers and itineraries to satisfy their cravings with an eye towards value in today’s economic climate."

Visitors can log on to http://www.landofwineandfood.com/perfectpairing to see special offers and itineraries in related to the filming of "Bottle Shock" in Sonoma and Napa counties, and "Sideways" in Santa Barbara County. The site provides special highlights of favorite spots from the flicks, along with deals and links to maps to help fans pour lots of fun and action into their trips.

The site also includes special travel packages to other renowned wine country regions across California, which produces 90 percent of U.S. wine.
