Celebrate World Tourism Day in Sydney
The International Institute Peace through Tourism, Australia Travel and Tourism Professional and Intrepid Travel have joined forces to celebrate World Tourism Day on Thursday 27 September with two key speakers providing first hand knowledge of two of the world’s most undiscovered destinations, East Timor or Timor Leste and Sri Lanka.
World Tourism Day is designated by the World Tourism Organisation with the main purpose of fostering awareness of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values and this year’s host country is Sri Lanka with the theme is ‘Tourism Opens Doors for Women.’
The organisers say that everyone is welcome including, travel industry, colleagues and travellers and the details are: –
