Celebrity and HAL bosses for UK Cruise Convention
Bosses of Celebrity Cruises and Holland America Line have been lined up as headline speakers for the UK Cruise Convention in June.
Dan Hanrahan is president and CEO of both Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises with responsibility for fleet operations, sales, marketing and brand development.
Celebrity Cruises launches its latest ship Celebrity Equinox, on July 31 with its maiden voyage from Southampton to the Norwegian fjords.
Rick Meadows is HAL’s executive vice president marketing, sales and guest programmes with global revenue responsibility for the company. He overseas all product pricing and yield management, marketing, sales, reservations, PR and guest relations.
They are both due to speak advice on how to sell premium brands and the best way to stay one step ahead within a rapidly changing world and will share the main conference session on June 18.
TV personality Mark Durden Smith will moderate the session as part of the convention in Dover on June 17-19 organised by the Association of Cruise Experts.
Three other conference sessions will take place with topics including the state of the industry and a review of the cruise year.
