Celebrity Cruises mandates vaccination for five year-olds
Celebrity Cruises will require children five years and older to be fully vaccinated in order to take a cruise.
It updated travel agents, with the policy change that impacts guests between the age of 5 and 12.
It takes effect February 1, 2022.
Unvaccinated younger children between two and four years old are required to bring a negative Antigen or PCR test taken within 72 hours of boarding.
Currently, children up to eleven years old can present a negative Antigen or PCR test prior to boarding.
Celebrity joins Disney Cruise Line in requiring young children to be vaccinated in order to cruise.
Sister brand Royal Caribbean International says it is still reviewing its vaccine policy for kids.
