Celebrity debuts Silhouette in Europe
Celebrity Cruises will offer its Captain’s Club members first bookings on its new Celebrity Silhouette ship, which will spend next summer in Europe.
Celebrity Silhouette sets sail for the first time in July 2011 when she will take her maiden voyage from Hamburg to Rome. A special nine-night Mediterranean voyage will folllow. Then, the new ship will offer a series of 12- and 13-night Holy Land sailings roundtrip out of Rome.
The ship’s three Solstice class sister ships will also spend summer 2011 in Europe.
The 2011 Europe season will include seven night Med voyages on Constellation, which Celebrity plans to “Solstice-ise” in response to passenger feedback. The season goes on sale today (April 9).
Captains Club passengers will also get first pickings on Silhouette’s winter 2011/12 Caribbean seven-night sailings out of Bayonne, New Jersey. Celebrity Cruises opened its summer Bermuda voyages – seven-night roundtrip sailings from Bayonne on Celebrity Summit – on March 10.
