Celebrity switches ship to Europe
Celebrity Cruises is to deploy a fourth ship in Europe next summer due to increased demand.
The 1,750-passenger Century will switch from the Caribbean to offer a range of European itineraries from May.
The ship will join other Celebrity vessels Constellation, Galaxy and Millennium sailing in Europe in summer 2005.
Century will start with 12-night Baltic sailings from Amsterdam before offering 10 and 11-night Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona in September and October.
Celebrity president Jack Williams said: “We’ve enjoyed offering a year-round option in the Caribbean with century but our guests’ demand for more Celebrity options in Europe can’t be ignored.”
The line has 10 ships in total and is the sister company to Royal Caribbean International.
